A visit from someone special...

Pops and Mae Mae came to visit and what a nice visit it was! We were all so happy to see them; after all, it's been 3 months now since we left Arlington. Wow... hard to believe... time really does fly! They came in on Thursday, 4/30, and picked Kelly up from school. Kelly knew they were picking her up and she was so excited she had a hard time going to sleep on Wednesday night; however, was speechless when they arrived. They said all she could do was smile! Kelly is also know as smiley. She didn't say a word until they were in the truck heading to our house. They also had the opportunity to greet Hailey and Brooke as they got off the school bus, visit their schools as well as each lunch with them. Pops and Kelly had lunch with Hailey and Mae Mae had lunch with Brooke. Mae Mae said Brooke didn't talk the entire lunch. She only answered Mae Mae's questions by shaking her head. When asking Brooke why she didn't talk, she informed me it's because she is shy! Whatever!! The Minor girls don't have a shy bone in their bodies. We also enjoyed good food... at Fajita Jack's and Sam's Boat and spent each evening just visiting and catching up. My parents came over on Thursday night to visit. It's not very often that the girls are with all 4 grandparents at the same time so that was a nice treat.
Larry and Peggy - thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedules to come spend a few days with us and to see what our new life is like in Montgomery. I love you both and look forward to our next visit!
